In 2021, I photographed a goat near the parking lot of a tofu shop, an early example of how I completely changed the idea of beautiful photography.

I am gradually moving away from lyrical subjects and carefully exploring the ordinary, the flashy, and even the boring. If each distinct object, state, combination, or process represents beauty, it would be shallow to pick and choose what is beautiful and what is not.

I do not doubt that the dignity and beauty of the world lies in every little piece of the world. I do not doubt that there is much more to a trifle animal, goat, than I think.

There’s a tea shop there. Now, think, or feel, or intuit what reality must be like if it looks like this. I don’t explain anything myself. It is a never-ending invitation to inference, to reflect, to fantasize.

It is the age of nostalgia, and photography is a great way to stir up nostalgia. Photography is the art of poetry, the art of twilight. Photography is the art of sorrow. To photograph people is to face them, see them in a way that one never sees them, to know them in a way that one never has.

Recently, photography has become as entertaining as dance.

That means that photography, like any popular art, is no longer art for most people. It is primarily a social ritual, a defense against anxiety, and a tool of power.

These pictures I took are fine art pictures.

It doesn’t matter what kind of activity is in the picture, it needs to be taken and taken care of.

Taking a picture means making what is photographed your own. It means putting oneself in a certain relationship with the world, which seems to be the power because it seems to be knowledge.　

And, to collect photos is to collect the world. In photographs, images are also objects, light, inexpensive, and easy to carry, accumulate, and store.

I went to the park just north of the mountain. I started shooting without seeing anyone. The red weeping cherry tree in the Edo Higan category was in bloom. The flower color is dark, and there is no such feature.

I put a coffee tumbler on the ground.

24 shots were taken with an 8-megapixel Canon Powershot. It’s a camera that’s commonplace everywhere. The only difference is that I put on a black strap to keep the camera from dropping.

It’s convenient to shoot flowers on Sunday afternoon, but it’s a different story when it comes to shooting wild birds.

There is only one thing to do on a sunny day in spring. Take a picture of the cherry blossoms.

I found the one I was looking for and went inside. With only one table, I ordered Fairtrade organic pesticide-free coffee.

It was a 90-year-old folk house, and the waiter had a stern look. I couldn’t read anything from her appearance, but her face told me everything.

It was just that the cats were there in the room. They weren’t tired. It wasn’t a hungry look, nor was it losing too much weight.

I hurriedly took out the camera. My ability is too great. I want that to be the case.

When I arrived on my way home, I noticed that I had left a pocket-sized notebook with the British Library drawn somewhere.

I think I was crazy about photography.

I visited the tax office at 4:30 on March 3, 2021. At that time, I wore the green button-down that I got from the office lady under the black jacket, put sunglasses with silver edges and purple lenses that felt like a fortune teller in the left chest pocket, and wore dark green trousers and combed my hair.

I’m not working as a fashion model at all. It was a consideration to make it look like a musician. I’m hoping the guards will overlook me.

However, I feel sick even if I look like a musician. If guards investigate, it may be suspected that the musician depreciated the carpet over a three-year period. I compose music on a cashmere carpet I bought in Phuket, but I didn’t have time to print the music score as an ID card.

Even with this, I intended to pay attention to the details. Carefully, I wore the perfume twice on the left neck and twice on the right neck. But I was hoping that the green button-down would make a difference. Insert the shirt, belt it, and fasten the button to the top. I really like this button-down. This is because it is perfect for a musician who wants to imitate the geek style.

I managed to successfully complete the submission of the tax return. A little refund will be returned around April, and I plan to use that money to repair the small Pentax.

The basis of the evaluation of work is the evaluation of oneself, and there is no room for the evaluation of others. Everyone has their own beliefs. Therefore, there are various businesses in this world.
