Crossover is a musical term that refers to a style that fuses musicality by overcoming genres of genres. It is a type of performance style of jazz that incorporates electric musical instruments and electronic musical instruments popular in the early 1970’s. From the late 1960s, it is a new style of music that incorporates electric instruments and rock style rendition style. Jazz rock and electric jazz were born, and some musicians such as Miles Davies and others tried to expand the possibilities of the style of performance. And, with the advent of electronic musical instruments such as synthesizers, performance expressions such as tone color became rich. In addition to jazz performance as a work, it also influenced mutual influence through pop music and rock.
